    1. Diana,
Yeah, last weekend was very hot. We usually get a week or several of 80+ heat that leads into the high 90’s for a few days. This summer was quite chilly for most of the time and would wind up with 20 degree jumps from cooler night temps to hotter day temps. So, it’s been a bit unusual. Not much humidity unless clouds are trying to come in and deliver rain. Snow in SA? Wow, that’s kind of odd, isn’t it? I honestly don’t know anything about weather in other places.

      1. Yes odd weather happening everywhere I suppose. Glad you were able to cool off in a pool which is one of my absloute fave things on a hot day…especially if it’s an outdoor pool. 🙂

    1. Melissa,
We hadn’t actually done much in the way of water activities, besides bubble baths, for the past couple of years. So, when we first got to the pool, she was scared and clingy. That changed rather quickly once she figured out that she could stand and run and keep her head above water. I think we spent close to four hours in and around the pool that day. It was great.

    1. Keith,
Yes, being able to hang out in the water and stay out of the hot sun was wonderful. I needed her to be tired out so we could both get some sleep. It was too warm to get much sleep unless we were completely exhausted and worn out.

    1. Adrienne,
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I appreciate it. Yep, tired kids are wonderful. Sadly she just needs a short rest before she’s fired up and ready to go again, lol.
