Reblog: Inaugural Award Presentation

As a result of receiving so many awards in recent weeks and because there have been so many whose blogs I have read provided me with inspiration, encouragement, and hope, I created a new blog award and site to “showcase” bloggers who take such risks to share their journeys. Please stop by, read through the Inaugural Award Presentation and the About page, then nominate someone who has shown courage in confessing the truth about themselves and their lives.
Be well,
Kina

Courageous Confessionals

I have come to the conclusion that I want to establish a blog award that recognizes the courage of being open, exposed, and authentic as part of a personal process of seeking healing, wellness, and growth. I’m calling it the Courageous Confessional Blog Award.  The title of which is partially inspired by one of the first people I am bestowing the award to, Sean Paul Mahoney of urtheinspiration and his post, I haven’t got time for the pain. The other blogger who will be an inaugural recipient is Tobbe ‘Torbs’ Lindgren ofslapppshot because of his five day series, Confessions of an Alcoholic!. Torbs’ presentation and sharing of this series is what helped transform my thought into action in creating this award. ~ Kina Diaz DeLeon, About, Courageous Confessionals

    1. KJ,
This isn’t just for me to nominate and award. This is out there for anyone and everyone who has been encouraged, inspired, strengthened, and given hope by reading someone’s personal journey. So, by all means, if you know of any blog/gers that meet that criteria for you, feel free to send one their way.
      Be well,
      Kina
