A friend from Invisible Shadow reblogged this and I found it very interesting to think about and read through. Why do you blog?

  1. It’s good practice to edit my thoughts and say what needs to be said—which is really what I want to say but have to go through several drafts mentally before I can describe the feeling/pictures well enough to communicate.

It’s also a great way to think something through, find out whether I have enough info to complete the idea or simply communicate with anyone willing to listen.

  2. It allows me to share things with the world that I can’t share with the one who is closest to me. It allows me to get the toxic garbage out of my head in a safe way. It allows me to connect with others who might be feeling the same kinds of things. For me, it’s extremely cathartic.

This is my 2nd blog. I had a strictly poetry blog for a few years but I felt obligated & pressured to constantly post my poems.. So I closed it down before Christmas.. I loved the interaction of other bloggers so only a few weeks ago opened up this blog.
I learn so many things through writing and blogging.. About myself, others, simple things even..
It’s a way for me to connect with people just like me or not at all like me but with one common goal. Trying to get through this thing called life..
    I love blogging!!!!
